The José Carreras Club Wien
The Club was founded in 1984 and in August 1986 it became an official registered association with statutes, general meeting and managing committee.
Our activities are:
| - | club journal four times a year with schedule of the artist, reports from members and news for members |
| - | club meetings every 3rd Saturday each month in "Cafe Schottenring", Wien I, Schottenring 19, sometimes with special guests |
| - | trips to performances by José Carreras |
| - | assist with ticket reservations by supplying addresses of ticket offices (occasional collective orders) |
| - | arrange contacts between members in Austria and abroad |
An important aim is the support of the "José Carreras Leukemia Foundation" according to § 2 of the Statutes with several
activities (organization of concerts, Christmas bazaar, publication of calendar and a
booklet, as well as fund raising).
